Spark Your Dream

Dear Fellow Traveler:
Are you cheating yourself by settling for anemic dreams and goals?
Do you have a great idea or a big dream that’s been sitting on the back burner while you struggle to just get by making a living?
Do you wish that you had a big dream, but don’t even know where to start?

Come to the Dream a Big Dream Workshop!!
I will give you a step by step blueprint of exactly how to create an action plan, complete with a action step prototype, that will transform your dream of today into your reality of tomorrow.

  • Bring your goal, dream, idea, or even a vague wish and we’ll help you develop it into a plan of action complete with a prototype concept.
  • It’s okay if your goal is simply to discover what your goal should be – you’ll get lots of great ideas and the support for acting upon them.
  • This will be an intimate small group workshop with lots of hands-on attention and group interaction.

Dream a Big Dream,
Make It a Memory of the Future,
and Expect a Miracle!

This four-part workshop will help you crystallize your future vision and goals, and give you The Spark you need to take action toward their fulfillment.

Prior to the Workshop
I will send you a resource packet to prepare you for getting the most out of your experience, including:

  • Audio CD #1 – Dream a Big Dream.
  • The Big Dream Workbook.
  • Pre-workshop reading suggestions.
  • Ideas for recreational extracurricular activities.

Session 1 – Defining Your Destination

In Session 1, I will help you define your goal in a way that makes it easy for you to create a plan and a prototype and – more important – in a way that makes it possible for you to believe that you will achieve!

  • How to know when you’re cheating yourself by settling for anemic dreams, and what you can do about it.
  • How to step outside of your “box” and get a new perspective and a bigger vision. NOTE: During this workshop, your classmates and I will PUSH you out of your box!
  • How to make 2 “impossibles” add up to become one “inevitable”.
  • The 4 questions that will get you very clear on what really matters and what doesn’t, and what you can do to stop wasting your life’s energy on the latter.
  • One very extraordinary technique for tapping into the invisible power of your subconscious mind.
  • Using the interaction of visualization (a verb) and vision (a noun) to create bigger and more authentic dreams and goals.
  • How to make small tweaks in the words you use yield huge dividends in your conceptualization, motivation, and execution.
  • Knowing when to start with the market wants to buy, and when to start with what you want to create (essential for would-be entrepreneurs and useful for everyone else).
  • Specific exercises to stretch your thinking and tap into your most creative inner resources.
  • The 5 most powerful actions you can take to overcome creative block.
  • The Paradox of Authenticity and The Paradox of Motivation, and how you can make them work for you.

Session 2 – Dealing with Detours and Roadblocks

Unique action steps you can take to leave behind the “rocks” of the past (including self-limiting beliefs and negative self-talk), and blast through the “blocks” of fear and doubt that can prevent you from taking effective action to move toward your desired future.

  • A simple ritual that will transform anxiety into confidence and fear into exhilaration.
  • The BIG question that will change the direction of your life.
  • How to build upon all 4 levels of The Pyramid of Self-Belief.
  • Specific mental exercises to clear away the graffiti of negative self-talk and the cobwebs of self-doubt.
  • The surprising success secret that doers know and talkers don’t know.
  • How to conquer the one universal fear that stops most dreamers dead in their tracks before they ever breathe life into their dreams.
  • How spending one minute per day can give you total self-empowerment.
  • When to replace YES with NO so that you can replace OR with AND.
  • Understanding how your religious beliefs and spiritual notions can either kill your dreams or inspire them with unquenchable fire.
  • Four steps you can take to make sure that you don’t become your own worst enemy.
  • Practical strategies for fending off pickle-suckers and dream-stealers.

Session 3 – Creating Your Roadmap

In this interactive session, we will explore creative methods for mapping out your dream in a way that helps you think through the implications, complications, and variations.

  • One key lesson from a bestselling business book that can help you make sure that your dreams are “built to last”.
  • Five “power tools” for transforming mere dreams into memories of the future.
  • The power of Critical Mass Goal Achievement and Quantum Leap Dreaming.
  • Using the power of analogy and metaphor to make the dream real.
  • How Chain Link Think can enhance your creativity, both in solitudinous reflection and in group brainstorming.
  • How to chart your progress with mile markers and road signs.
  • 21st century technology that can help you achieve your goals: whether you want to write a book or start a movement, it’s never been easier if you use these tools.

Session 4 - Starting Your Journey

We’ve all heard that we should begin with the end in mind. Here’s a little secret that all successful people understand: by the time you reach the end it will be unrecognizable, so what is most important is to begin. In this session, we will launch you off to your future with a “first steps” action plan and working model or prototype that galvanizes you to get started immediately on putting the foundations under your dream.

  • Making the most of the all-important first 100 days.
  • Why you cannot hold yourself accountable for hitting your milestones on the road to success, and how to recruit the people who can.
  • Using the One Page Business Plan to spark yourself into action.
  • How to Think Big, Start Small and the power of the prototype.
  • Why you must weave together multiple sources of motivation to keep your own fires burning, and how to do it.
  • The Almost Factor, and how to avoid falling into this trap.
  • How to ask for help in a way that you are certain to get it.
  • How to create a more powerful “stage presence” by cultivating your charisma (you already have it, just not enough of it).
  • Key lessons in the art of story-telling – how to tell your story to sell yourself and others on your dream.
  • How to know when it’s time to plan and work, and when it’s time to pray and wait.

After the Workshop
To help you maintain your momentum I’ll send you home with another package of resources, in addition to all of the notes and handouts that you will receive during the workshop itself. This includes:

  • Mastermind contract with one or more of your classmates.
  • Dreamcyclopedia binder.
  • Post-workshop reading suggestions.
